This course will enable students to assemble the patient’s health record by collecting, analyzing, and protecting digital and traditional medical information. The student will ensure all information is complete, properly identified and authenticated and also this course covers health information management, legal, ethical, anatomy and physiology as well as medical terminology. Many Health Information Specialist can specialize in varying areas or one aspect of the EHR and this program will give you the education and credentials employers are looking.
